Dude, I’m sold. We’ve built our tools already for Scalr, but I’ll keep ObjectFabric in mind.

A great way to determine if you have a chance at a sale, is to find answers to these three questions: Why buy at all (why not do nothing)? Why buy from you (why not buy from the competition)? Why buy now (why not just wait)?

This is great, let me try for ObjectFabric:

Situation: The Web is becoming Real-Time, e.g. multi-player games, live collaboration software, complex event processing.

Complication: But developers find it hard to write real-time Web applications. E.g. protocols like http were designed for serving static content.

Implication*: It cost 10X too much to develop modern Web sites. Developers have to manually write lots of error prone boilerplate code. They do not have time to add real value like improving user experience.

Position: We write software that automates communication and storage using technologies from the very demanding financial software industry (=What), so you don’t have to re-invent the wheel by developing your infrastructure yourself (=Why).

The Ask: If you know someone who is about to develop a real-time application for Web, mobile or desktop, let me know and we’ll help him out.
